About Me
It all begins with an idea.
I was born and raised in Indiana, where my nursing journey first began. I earned both my Bachelor’s and Master’s degrees in Nursing from the University of Southern Indiana. After spending 24 years in the Midwest, I moved to Dallas, Texas, where I completed my master’s training over three years. Following that, I fulfilled one of my lifelong dreams by relocating to Los Angeles, California.
Today, I still call California home, where I live with my two dogs, Oliver and Pablo. In my free time, I enjoy staying active through fitness, yoga, and meditation. I also love volunteering at my local animal shelter, exploring new restaurants, attending live music events, playing pickleball, and watching films.
What makes me a good fit?
It all begins with an idea.
My clinical experience includes working with individuals experiencing Sleep difficulties, ADHD, OCD, PTSD, Depression, Anxiety, Bipolar Disorder, Schizophrenia, Anger Management, and more. Please consult with me if you feel you have different concerns.
I have specialized training in providing culturally sensitive care for BIPOC and LGBTQIA+ communities. My goal is to create a supportive, collaborative space where each treatment plan is tailored to your unique needs—helping you achieve lasting, meaningful improvement in your mental health and overall well-being.
We’ll spend time getting to know you—your background, goals, and what brings you to care—so we can develop an individualized treatment plan tailored to your unique needs. Together, we’ll begin building a therapeutic partnership focused on achieving lasting change and optimal mental well-being.
What makes me different than other providers?
It all begins with an idea.
What makes me different is my commitment to making you feel genuinely heard, supported, and valued from the very beginning of our work together. I take an integrated approach that combines medication management, psychotherapy, and holistic wellness strategies to promote meaningful and lasting improvement. My goal is to create a treatment plan combining all 3 modalities with you during our session.
I believe it’s important to analyze one’s personal history by reflecting on childhood experiences and family dynamics, as these formative years play a crucial role in shaping who we become as adults.
I believe accessibility and responsiveness are essential to quality care. Please reach out and, I’ll do my best to accommodate around YOUR schedule—because your mental health matters, and timely support makes a difference. You will receive contact information from me where I am quickly responsive through text message.
Above all, my goal is to create a safe, judgment-free space where you can express yourself openly and feel that your time and experiences truly matter. See you soon!
